At IQVIA, we know that making a positive impact in the world matters to our employees. To support those interests and passions for giving back to the communities where we live and work, we have IQVIA Day — a volunteer program for IQVIA employees that provides one paid business day off any time during the year to volunteer to support a local charity. We also support many other charitable organizations through corporate patronage and sponsorship.
Employees in Thailand help local school
Employees in Thailand partnered with a local school dedicated to supporting orphaned and disadvantaged children and adolescents through education. Since the school relies almost entirely on charitable donations and volunteer work, our employees gave their time and gifted several new items for the children to play with and learn from. They were rewarded with smiles and new friendships.
Interns dig in to help local community
IQVIA interns in Durham, North Carolina, recently spent the day volunteering for their local chapter of Habitat for Humanity. As an international, nonprofit organization, Habitat for Humanity helps people build and improve places to call home.
Employees support nursing and dementia specialist care center
The UK client services team participated in the IQVIA Day program by spending a full day gardening at Olive Tree House, a facility that provides nursing and dementia care for the elderly. They shared a rewarding day together with glorious weather and very happy residents!
US employees help keep hiking trails accessible to all
Employees recently volunteered with Piedmont Appalachian Trail Hikers (PATH) to maintain a section of the Appalachian Trail in southwest Virginia. PATH aims to preserve this historic route and helps employees get outside for some fresh air!
A new café provides an empowering experience
IQVIA India opened a new café at its Bangalore office run and managed by adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. The MITTI Café helps employees live lives of economic independence and dignity while providing them with employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
